Icon maker
An icon maker is one who is involved in the process of producing icons. An icon maker has got great prospects and abundant opportunities in the world of icons. The icon maker will usually follow three steps while producing the icons. The first stage is referred as the visualization stage. The second stage is referred as the decision making stage. The third stage is referred as the designing stage. He usually attaches lots of importance to all the three stages. As a matter of fact the amount of importance attached in all stages will almost be equal. In the visualization stage he draws a rough picture of the icon in his mind. In the next stage namely decision making stage he does two process. They are referred as research and implementation. In the research stage he analyses who his target audience are. He collects innumerable information from various sources to compile this data. In the implementation stage he charts out the features that are to be incorporated in the icons so that it will attract the target audience. When it come to the question of designing he find out what are to be included in his icons in term of designs colors, sizes and dimensions. This stage is more or less involves structuring of these icons.
