Religious icons play an important role in the computer systems used today. Lot of icon makers produces religious icons. Similarly there are lots of person purchasing religious icons. Some of the major religions of the world are Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity and Jainism. Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism are mostly practiced in Asian countries. Islam is practiced inmost Arabic countries. Countries belonging to European Union and European entity practice Christianity. Whatever are the religious beliefs and systems the common objective is worship of god. Since many are yet to realize this there are lots of religious riots. Vested interest of certain like minded group is also another reason. Today the work pressures of people are very high. Therefore they rarely find time to go to places of worship. On the contrary they would prefer to do even this in the electronic way through websites and online worship portals. However there is a lot of controversy if this is the right method and some religious and pious people are against this practice and fear that the explosion of computers, internet and other technology will do more harm than good in satisfying the objectives of worship in the long run.
